 Steve Rhodes has been involved with various local radio stations since making his debut appearance behind the mic, presenting Drivetime on Guiseley FM in June 2000.
Since then Steve has continued his association with Guiseley and he's also branched out with spots on BCB in Bradford, Shipley Community Radio and also Harmony Radio in North Yorkshire .
In 2001, Steve founded Wharfedale FM, and has presented a range of shows from the Otley studios, whenever the station was on air.
It was while hosting the Wednesday evening show on Harmony that Steve met fellow Wharfedale Radio member, Graham Smith, and they continued their association when Steve presented the ever popular Retro Chart Show on Graham's internet station, Yorkshire Radio.
Steve's interests include most sports, especially cricket and rugby, both league and union, and his ambition is to provide a dedicated, full time, community radio service for the people of the Wharfe Valley. A service that will provide the best local news, sport and information, presented in a thoroughly professional manner, by a dedicated band of local people. In fact, your voice in the community.
Steve lives in Burley in Wharfedale with his partner, Annette, has two sons, Andrew and Richard, and works for a manufacturer of educational furniture in Keighley.
 Graham Smith has been a journalist for over 35 years, beginning his career on weekly and evening newspapers. More recently he has diversified into publishing but still writes features for a national series of magazines. He has broadcast for two Yorkshire based radio stations and founded the Internet station Yorkshire Radio.
He takes a particular interest in show business nostalgia, but sees his role with Wharfedale as encouraging good standards of journalism so that local audiences can be informed and entertained. He and his wife Margaret are directors of their own media company, Mediaworld.
